When his point, a personal trainer, suggested the Body for LIFE Challenge to him, as something to focus on when he got out of hospital. And Gerard did just that. Gerard started his training at home, watched over by his friend. Previously a successful junior boxer, Gerard incorporated this training into his cardio workouts. I had pains everywhere but gradually it got better and I did enjoy it: I knew it was making me better: BFL is the best medicine going – 100% better than any tablet I’ve been prescribed. And I have been on some serious painkillers and antidepressants recently!.’ Gerard lost a stone in weight and reduced his body fat percentage by half. Of his challenge, Gerard says ‘I didn’t want to go back to the way I lived. I wanted to change myself and it was feeling so good – nothing can stop me now. I’m feeling good – no tremendous.’
