31-year-old Daniel Stone from Cleveland is the proud winner of the EAS 2005 Body-for-LIFE Age 31-40 Category. Family man Daniel juggled his busy job as a policeman with the EAS easy-to-follow workouts and transformed his body. Daniel lost almost two stones and reduced his body fat level from 30% to 25%.
Daniel was no couch potato before he took up the EAS Body-for-LIFE Challenge and wasn't falling down through lack of commitment. The Community Police Officer was training for hours at a time and not seeing results. 'I was going to the gym for lots of long sessions,' he recalls. 'Despite the hours I put in it wasn't working. I saw Body-for-LIFE advertised and it seemed right for me as it was fitness-orientated and not just about losing weight.'
Daniel says: 'It was strange eating six times a day at first as I was used to three big meals. But it works a lot better and after a few weeks you're into a pattern. I planned exactly what and when to eat and the EAS Myoplex Original Shakes, Storm Bars and Carb Sense Bars worked well for me.'
He also noticed a surge in his energy levels. 'Losing weight made me feel much more mobile physically and I felt really clear in mind and body. I felt more mentally and physically aware of my life.'
Daniel was particularly thrilled about the progress he made with his new, toned stomach. 'I hadn't seen my stomach muscles for a long time,' he laughs. 'It took eight weeks for this definition to come through but I saw other improvements earlier which kept me motivated.'
Since completing the Challenge, Daniel's confidence has soared and this has helped him in other areas of life. 'Achieving my goals made me feel better about myself physically and mentally,' he says.
