What were your
reasons for deciding to accept
the Body-for-LIFE Challenge?
I accepted the Body-for-LIFE Challenge so that I would have the best body and self esteem that I can have. Specific reasons: 1.) Learn to eat properly; 2.) Loose weight / body-fat and achieve a flat stomach; 3.) Build body strength through weight training; 4.) Build positive self confidence - internally and externally; and 5.) Look good in a swim suit.
What inspired
you to stay on course throughout the 12-week Challenge?
I received consistent positive inspiration from my support groups. 1.) Demi-Lawrence Body Works - Larry, my physical, nutrition and positive attitude trainer. Demi my spiritual coach. 2.) Fellow workout partners at the gym. 3.) My family and friends; 4.) Looking at my "goal" body photos all around my home; 5.) I wanted the change and visualized the body and spirit change.
What obstacles
did you have to overcome – what adversity did you transform
into positive energy – in order to complete the 12-week
Challenge?
My largest obstacle was breaking old eating habits. I did the following so that my eating habits would not sabotage me; 1.) Learned daily menus-7 eating schedules; 2.) Recorded eating diary; 3.) Always ate 6 meals; 4.) Reviewed eating diary with Larry and made adjustments when needed; 5.) Bought only good food; and 6.) Chose not to be around people who were not supportive.only "can do" people.
Please describe your physical improvements in terms of how
you measured them.
I calibrated my physical progress via body measurements. I was really surprised with the "after" measurements. My clothes fit much better.
Which
EAS supplements did you use, and how much did they help you?
Would you recommend those supplements to others to help them
achieve the results you have?
I used EAS Myoplex® Powder shakes and Myoplex® Carb Sense® bars. I would recommend EAS supplements to others to help them achieve their goals.
How was
your life transformed by improving your physical condition –
by deciding to accept the Challenge and sticking with it from
start to finish?
I feel so proud of myself that I accepted and completed the Challenge. I rearranged my life and put "my Challenge" first. In the past 15 years, I have tried many weight reduction programs, but was not successful. The last 12 weeks taught me that I wasn't looking for weight reduction but for self-acceptance and self-love. I now realize that I can put my needs first and that I deserve the best. I am still learning how to accept a compliment without discounting myself. I feel great and am very happy with myself. I DID THE CHALLENGE!!
