What were your reasons for deciding to accept the Body-for-LIFE Challenge?
I accepted this Challenge because I really wanted to find out what I have on the inside. All my life, I have had a pattern of quitting what I started. For the first time, I wanted to feel like an achiever instead of a quitter. After reading Body-for-LIFE, I felt the hope and motivation I needed to set a goal and try to change my body. I wanted to push myself beyond my comfort zone. Setting a specific goal and competing was definitely not my nature. Bill's program sounded great!

What inspired you to stay on course throughout the 12-week Challenge?
My first inspiration was the Body-for-LIFE book. I'd refer to certain parts. I kept telling myself that I couldn't break a self-promise. After the first month, just seeing my body change was very inspiring. So many people would ask what I was doing. The fact that they noticed motivated me. After about 8-weeks, I actually was inspired from the progress I had already made. I had come too far to give up. I WOULD finish!

What obstacles did you have to overcome – what adversity did you transform into positive energy – in order to complete the 12-week Challenge?
My self-esteem was at an all time low because of my past failures in many areas. Financially, our family was really struggling because of some major setbacks in my husband's business and poor financial planning. Our whole way of living has changed. I felt completely out of control and stressed. My only comfort was eating. I couldn't afford to go to a gym or buy a lot of supplements. But, I knew that was no excuse. I poured the stress into my workouts. It has been a great release. I feel so much better no binging for comfort. I now find comfort in knowing I am in control, not the food. I had been depressed a lot. Now I feel energetic and happy, giving thanks to God for giving me strength to endure.

Please describe your physical improvements in terms of how you measured them.
I measured my physical progress by pant size, measurements, muscle tone and weight. I went from a size 10-12 to a size 6. Which I never thought I'd see again. My waist went from 31 1/2 to 26 1/2. My hips went from 40" to 35". My weight was 133 when I started the program - now I'm 115. Which was my goal. But, I'm much more excited about the muscle tone I've developed. I've never had this in my life. It doesn't look or feel like my body anymore!

Which EAS supplements did you use, and how much did they help you? Would you recommend those supplements to others to help them achieve the results you have?
The Myoplex® Lite shakes were the most important supplements for my success. We're on a limited budget, so the shakes and bars were all I tried. I really feel like I could not have followed the nutrition plan without the convenience and health benefits of these shakes. I know how important protein is on the program. The Myoplex® was a quick and easy way to get a lot of protein and the perfectly balanced nutrition I needed. I also was surprised at how good they taste! I definitely recommend them.

How was your life transformed by improving your physical condition – by deciding to accept the Challenge and sticking with it from start to finish?
After having two babies, I thought I had to accept my body the way it was. I'm so glad I didn't settle! Now that I have finished this Challenge, I feel empowered to achieve anything I want! Everyone around me comments on how good I look and wants to know how I did it. I've started others on Body-for-LIFE. It gives me tremendous pride to now be able to inspire others to improve themselves. This is the first goal I've ever achieved. But it won't be the last. I'm pleased to say I found a strength and determination that I never imagined I had inside myself. I don't view myself as a quitter or failure anymore because I have accomplished something so important to me. I can now say that I am an ACHIEVER!!!.
